AWS Cron Generator — EventBridge Cron Expression Builder

Build and validate AWS EventBridge cron() expressions. AWS cron uses six fields: minutes, hours, day-of-month, month, day-of-week and year.

AWS Cron Examples

• cron(0 9 ? * MON-FRI *) — weekdays at 09:00 UTC
• cron(0 0 1 * ? *) — first day of every month
• cron(0 12 ? * MON#1 *) — first Monday at noon
• cron(0/5 * ? * * *) — every 5 minutes

AWS cron() or rate()?

Use rate(5 minutes) for fixed intervals. Use cron(...) for calendar schedules such as weekdays, specific dates, or monthly patterns.
